Job Description:

• We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a ‘can do attitude’, be able to multi-task, be cost conscious and have a ‘customer first’ mentality be that with other co-workers in collaboration to support our customers every need. We are looking for someone who is passion about the IKEA product range and has a good understanding of basic sales principles, and has retail experience and a customer first mindset/focus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
• You contribute to improving our customers shopping experience, by supporting the prevention of unnecessary costs related to our products and improving their quality.
• Proactive co-operation and contribution with colleagues inside and outside the department with the aim to minimise all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
• Your daily tasks include the responsibility to decide and act on how to handle products that have been returned by our customers, that have been damaged in the store or that in any other way are not possible to offer to our customers. This you do by keeping the financial result and environmental impact in mind.
• Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store

Job Requirements:

• A quick learner who can easily adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly with various audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to ensure the integrity of safety and security systems, guidelines and documentation.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize own work in alignment with agreed safety and security priorities.
• You need to be able to react quick on your feet to changing circumstances in a calm professional manner
