Job Description:

The Manager Technology Field Services will provide leadership and support to the cluster organization in implementing and supporting technology solutions. The Team Member will supervise and provide direction for technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services at assigned properties. The Manager Technology Field Services will ensure the implementation of technology is aligned with the overall technical vision of the corporation, meets the business goals of the hotels, and streamlines operations while adhering to hardware and software standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise governance tasks and remediation items identified during vendor certification reviews and hotel infrastructure audits ensuring timely completion by the vendors. This includes preparing integrator audit reports and maintaining an online repository with status updates.
  • Lead the objectives for the team and how those objectives are going to be accomplished
  • Assist in setting the overall technical vision of regional properties
  • Work with key partners and departments, structuring the resources and activities of the Field Services team so objectives are accomplished
  • Project manage all IT-related functions for new openings and conversions of full-service owned and handled properties
  • Implement and lead IT Field Service departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of the department are carried out in accordance with department and company objectives
  • Supervise the development and administration of hotel IT systems
  • Disseminate, organize and communicate regarding assignments and projects within upper management
  • Prioritize and delegate work to Team Members accordingly, while ensuring optimal allocation of resources
  • Research and identify business opportunities for technology and report findings and conclusions and prepare a status report of your activities for your hotels and cluster

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience administering networks in a Windows Server/Workstation environment preferably in an environment with more than 50 nodes and 2 or more domains (Applicable Microsoft certifications: MCSA, MCTS or MCITP for Windows Server, MCDST for workstations)
  • Microsoft or Cisco certification
  • Experience with Hospitality related applications and systems (PMS, POS, Keycard, PBX, and Voicemail)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT Support roles
  • Two (2) years of managerial or project management experience
  • Seven (7) years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
  • Nine (9)+ years of professional work experience in Technology or a related field
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall, and VPN applications (applicable Microsoft network admin certifications MCSA or MCSE)
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Two (2) years of experience in Hospitality Operations or comparable field
