Job Description:

The Supply & Demand (S&D) Planning Specialist supports the Regional Supply & Demand team with input on the regional buying process and performs analysis to drive profitable sales growth across markets and channels. The person in this role will perform analysis used to follow up on the stock forecast and buying with key stakeholders in the region and global Business Units. The S&D Planning Specialist will support with analysis in areas such as buying methods in region, stock management strategies (i.e. sale and reductions) and rolling stock management actions together with Merchandising Managers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Supply & Demand Planning Manager with analysis on the Store OMNI buying strategy for the region together with Merchandising
  • Managers, Business Units, Sales Markets, and other members of the regional Supply & Demand team
  • Support with analysis on regional demand plan from a supply perspective, including sales (net and gross), stock and reduction targets in alignment with regional commercial strategy, financial plan, business unit direction, and capital tied up targets
  • Run analyses of customer group/concept growth potential to identify regional opportunities and recommend regional strategy in collaboration with Merchandising Managers
  • Support with analysis to follow on forecast and deviation from current plan of region/market demand and inventory levels to proactively identify (short, mid, and long term) actions on buying, bulk sourcing, and stock management
  • Support with analysis if additional buying methods and roles are applicable in region (%-Market, Market Optimization), responsible for defining ways of working and syncing with these
  • OMNI sync and strategy development with E-Commerce counterpart

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience with buying, merchandising, controlling/finance, logistics or inventory management
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent relevant experience
