Flow & Capacity Team Leader – IKEA Job

Job Description:

As a diverse mix of co-workers we use our supply process expertise to balance range and space capacity with forecasting and ordering to provide customers with high availability while minimizing costs. Job Responsibilities:

• General office work with occasional lifting of no more than 25 pounds (12 kgs).
• Everyday use of computer equipment on a consistent basis.
• Read, count and write to accurately complete all necessary documentation, if needed.
• Communicate with other co-workers, managers and customers on a regular basis (written, verbal, in person, phone or email).
• Ability to handle high volume workload with multiple and changing priorities/deadlines and moderate stress.
• Co-Worker Performance Measurements
• Ability to manage conflict, when needed.
• Occasional Bending, stretching, reaching, lifting. Sitting at work area on a consistent basis.

Qualification & Experience:

• Knowledgeable and understanding Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with computer software (i.e. MS Office, Databases).
• 2 year college degree in logistics, transportation management, business or supply chain or relevant working experience preferred.
• 3-5 years supply chain experience required.
• Analytical, organizational, strategic thinking skills.
