Job Description:
The System Planner has regular responsibility for providing system planning analysis and support to operations, engineering design, and sales as well as periodic on call after hours emergency support. The selected candidate for this role will also support Technical Specialists for complex New Business main, service and meter set designs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in engineering audits to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Identifies and escalates obstacles/issues that put projects at risk
- Analyzes infrastructure projects, evaluates alternatives, and recommends balanced solutions
- Collaborates and provides daily support for Engineering Design, Sales and Field Operations projects and emergency response
- Identifies and corrects distribution network model, validates loads and assignments, and completes quality control checks
- Analyzes gas systems, monitors system low points, and recommends corrective actions
- Develops recommendations to resolve existing compliance issues
- Optimizes project solutions on multiple objectives considering system reliability, cost, and customer service
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Performs audit of the hydraulic system to ensure customers receive reliable service
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience: 2+ years
- Experience: 5+ years
- Bachelor’s – Engineering
