Fpl Employment – Inventory Services Specialist

Job Description:

Our Integrated Supply Chain – Logistics Material Management Department is looking for an Inventory Services Specialists to join their team at the St. Lucie Service Center.   The position performs materials management/purchasing tasks; performs warehouse functions to include safe operation of motorized forklifts and other equipment.  Successful candidates will have experience in some or all areas of purchasing, warehousing and inventory controls.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides support for: facility transfers, secondary locations, remote sites, overhauls, and refueling outages
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Performs technical tasks of controlled scope, to support timely availability of material for scheduled jobs
• Works independently in all aspects of warehouse and physical inventory control practices
• Performs in-depth research of material requests and material receipt inspection, using the appropriate on-line material management system

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience:4+ years
• High School Grad / GED
• DOT Hazmat Trng Accordnce 49 CFR 172.704
• Valid Driver’s License (NON CDL)
• Industrialized Powered Forklift Qual
