Finance Reporting Analyst – Stryker Job Opportunities


Job Description:

The Finance Reporting Analyst in the Global Quality & Operations (GQO) reporting team, which is a team is responsible for the consolidation of all the GQO financials including monthly P&L’s, projections, budgets, standard cost setting and network wide analytics. This role is a Finance Analyst within the team and will become very familiar with the network wide financials and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • All other duties as assigned
  • Assist in the Global Review of the GQO Standard Cost Setting Process
  • Assist in the consolidation, analysis and reporting of Quarter End and Year End Financial Packages
  • Assist in Business Unit Finance Support Activities for the GQO Headquarters entity
  • Develop and enhance reporting analytics that would allow the GQO Reporting Team to analyze the 40+ Manufacturing Sites in a consistent/streamlined fashion
  • Maintain documentation analyzing the GQO Balance Sheet across 40+ Manufacturing Sites
  • Streamlining of month end reporting processes for flash, actuals and projection
  • Develop network wide analytics as required
  • Assist in the consolidation and analysis of Month End GQO Financial Information – for P&L, Inventory, Headcount, Non GAAP
  • Responsible for Month End Validation of GQO Financial Information – Franchise Splits, Intercompany Accounts, Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Assist in the GQO wide projection process, specifically responsible for consolidation, analysis and reporting of financials
  • Assist in the Global Review of the GQO Budget – P&L, Inventory, Headcount, Capital Spend, manual schedules and other items.

Job Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, etc. Generally involves sitting most of the time
  • Must be able to routinely make decisions that affect immediate operations and may have a company wide effect
  • Ability to use common office equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, telephone, etc.)
  • Must be able to analyze and resolve accounting/finance issues of a broad scope using independent judgement
  • Must be able to observe and correct minute inconsistencies (e.g. in the printed word, an accounting report or system, etc.)
  • Travel as required (0%-10% estimated)
  • Must be able to influence a diverse body of constituents and business leaders
  • Must be able to review printed materials

Qualification & Experience:

  • 2+ years relevant experience working in a manufacturing finance team preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills
