This is a temporary appointment in the Excepted Service, not to exceed 2 years, with the option to extend based on workload and funding availability. Reviewing and analyzing legislative and regulatory proposals for financial impacts and consistency with financial laws, regulations, and policies. Developing, implementing, and modifying financial management policies, standards, regulations, and procedures to meet the requirements of programs. Providing administrative and technical direction and guidance to personnel regarding financial policy interpretation. Evaluating the execution of financial management policies and recommending changes to accommodate changing guidelines. Participating in working groups or task forces involved in developing financial management guidelines, and preparing presentations, reports, and decision papers in that regard. Qualification & Experience: You qualify for this position at the IC-13 level (starting salary $103,690) if you possess the following. One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting legislation, policy, regulations, standards, and procedures to meet the requirements of programs.
