Job Description: ITMS Only: Provides administrative and related support services and assistance for the Section Chief (SC) and Assistant Section Chief (ASC) of the Information Technology Management Section (ITMS). NTOS Only: Provides administrative and related support services and assistance for the Section Chief (SC) of the National Threat Operations Section (NTOS). Job Responsibilities: In the absence of the SC will assume responsibility for ensuring requests for action or information are made known to responsible personnel who can complete the request. Follows up on the resulting activities for the purpose of briefing the SC. Schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements; prepares agendas and information for trips. Makes arrangements for presentations and/or lectures either for the SC or for a member of his staff to include preparing documents from rough draft and making necessary changes to fit the situation at hand. Receives and screens all telephone calls and refers the call to appropriate staff for action. Receives visitors for the SC and schedules and arranges appointments, meetings, conferences and other engagements. Performs a variety of office automation and word processing duties in support of office operations. Composes and types a variety of narrative material. Correspondence frequently includes classified information, technical words and phrases and secret or confidential information. Job Requirements: Reviewed correspondence to ensure conformance with format, grammar, and current policies and regulations. Researched policies to provide advice on administrative procedures and requirements. Acted as a point-of-contact for internal and external personnel; assessing and addressing questions or conflicts and providing appropriate direction. Gathered, organized, and maintained information on a variety of automated and/or manual systems. Qualification & Experience: Education may not be substituted for specialized experience.
