Job Description: The Senior Manager will be responsible for working closely with FAAS leadership, Partners, Senior Managers and Managers on client engagements across Americas and EMEIA. The incumbent will provide technical support, grow the GDS portfolio and coach EY GDS Assurance Managers. Job Responsibilities: Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence GAAP conversions Transaction accounting Accounting change (revenue recognition and lease accounting) Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing Managers Lead multiple global or domestic client engagement teams and ensure exceptional quality service Conduct FAAS team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance Enhance relationships with global teams and leverage connections to identify opportunities for work at the GDS Act as a FAAS subject matter expert for one or more FAAS solutions, including: Actively support the Americas or EMEIA FAAS leadership both in terms of growth as well as quality initiatives Job Requirements: Consolidation and compilation support Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK) Extensive hands–on experience in the following areas: Drafting and designing accounting policies Technical accounting research and advice GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Indian accounting standards Transaction accounting and reporting – IPOs, Carve–outs, PPA, etc. 10–13 years (post qualification) in assurance or finance controllership roles, including at least 5 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience Financial statement close process support Job Details: Company: EY India Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
