Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with the OMG, Materials Coordinator and Scheduler to assist in maintenance work prioritization
  • Review work orders to identify any special services requirements and material requirements
  • Share MP2 knowledge assisting employees in training and tracking of work order processes
  • Lead root cause failure analysis process tracking and development of failure mitigation
  • Track and schedule training programs for maintenance employees
  • Work with the purchasing department and enters a material request
  • Promote safe and compliant work culture
  • Post and distribute metrics regarding PM program performance, while continuing to refine preventative maintenance and reliability processes
  • Define benchmarks, milestones and track metrics to measure continuous improvement
  • Review all work orders in MP2 that require formal planning, decide whether a field check is required, and assemble a job plan that includes any specialty service needs, a bill of material and all necessary permits

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Maintenance reliability experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by specific jobs
  • Willing and able to work independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and MP2 or other maintenance planning software
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

Qualification & Experience:

  • Knowledge of lumber or plywood industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or equivalent manufacturing experience
