Job Description:
Media Engineering handles audio, video, and metadata content from ingest through publish – for normalization, processing, and packaging – supporting operator tools and automation for a scalable workflow. We build logic across players and back-end services to measure, control, and optimize playback across our stack.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage SVP/executive calendars, phone calls, travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks to ensure top executive efficiency
- Help facilitate regular internal and external meetings for executives to ensure that business goals and timelines are being met and implemented
- Help prepare meeting materials and track internal projects when requested
- Develop and maintain relationships with other admins and key partners across Disney Streaming Technology and the broader company
- Provide light administrative support to VP direct reports
- Work closely with the Media Engineering Chief of Staff and assist with projects as needed
- Play a prominent role in helping morale remain high and making the office a fun environment
- Help coordinate team events across geographies as well as high-profile events, off-sites and team building activities
Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks at once while remaining calm and poised
- Ability to make decisions and execute quickly and efficiently, picking up new skills when necessary
- Strong proficiency with all types of computers, phones, and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft & Google office suite and working in a Windows environment
- Maturity to handle confidential information and serve as representative of executives at Disney Streaming
- Attention to detail, solution-oriented focus, and strong organizational skills
- Experience with business workflow suites such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Proven skills at building and maintaining relationships
