Digital QA Specialist – PacSun Job Application

Job Description:

The Digital QA specialist is responsible for performing manual quality assurance testing on pacsun.com and all respective PacSun digital web proprieties. This position is responsible for reviewing project and development requirements to ensure requirements are clearly met across all web browsers and devices including mobile and tablet. Daily tasks will include finding defects and bugs on the website, testing company email newsletters, and checking that all assets and links are working correctly. This person is responsible for making sure all tasks are resolved in a timely manner. This position works closely with project management, merchandisers, developers and designers. Must be focused, results-oriented, self-motivated, and a resourceful problem-solver. Our ideal candidate is one that can thrive in a fast-moving, creative company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project and development requirements to ensure requirements are clearly met when testing
• Analyze requirements and test across all web browsers and digital devices
• Ensure functionality is working per requirements
• Submit all bugs into ticket system
• Ensure tickets are resolved in a timely manner
• Escalate issues to team as necessary
• Provide regular reports on testing and bugs found on the site
• Ability to turn over multiple projects and tasks within a day.
• Work with merchandising team to assure all promotions and coupons reflect correctly on site
• Daily QA tasks

Job Requirements:

• Strong organization, research and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar and spelling skills
• Technologically savvy, detail oriented, and strong communication skills

Qualification & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in Web QA, preferably on an eCom website
• College degree is preferred
• Proficiency with all modern web browsers, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience working in an fast paced development environment; independently and within a team
