Job Description:

This position is placed with DCSA’s Chief Strategy Office (CSO) under the supervision of the Program Manager for Performance Measures and Knowledge Management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) staff and/or applications contractors, and other IT service providers in the development of automation design, functional specifications, software evaluation and test plans for new IT initiatives for DCSA programs.
• Serving as a Program Analyst for all the enterprise performance measures and reporting initiatives under the Enterprise
• Analytics & Information directorate and is responsible for all aspects of the studies assigned to include the initiatives plan, design, measurement, and implementation to meet the goals and timelines of the assigned enterprise projects.
• Consulting with customers (internal or external) to identify automation requirements and develops programming specifications for developers.
• Conducting studies, research, or analysis of the Federal personnel background investigations program to identify opportunities where applying technology would improve processes within DCSA and in the delivery of products and services to our customer base.
• Coordinating system enhancements and new development with other Federal agencies when DCSA systems interface with other agency systems or cause an impact to another agency’s system.
• Coordinating the implementation of changes into the production work environment.
• Serving as project manager for one or more of DCSA’s automated systems; Overseeing several release projects, working with business and technical support teams and subject matter experts across organizational lines to define, manage, monitor and track project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
