A Customer Care Representative is one of the first contacts for all of State Farm customers resulting in every employee’s contributions making a difference in the lives of our customers. The Customer Care Center Representative role includes answering insurance service questions and assisting with the selling of State Farm insurance products to all customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowing where to find the answers to a variety of insurance-related questions and helping the customer understand the next steps in the process
  • Successful completion of required training programs
  • Providing emergency assistance and taking detailed messages for agents and claims personnel as needed
  • Listen and communicate clearly, professionally and empathetically
  • Work from established procedures, scripts and job aids and handle multiple computer applications while helping customers on the phone
  • Escalate problems or inquiries as needed
  • Fulfill state licensing and continuing education requirements as applicable
  • Maintain quality, accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Applying industry and product knowledge to provide accurate rate quotes
  • Providing a remarkable customer experience by communicating clearly, professionally and empathetically
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environment

Job Requirements:

  • Selling State Farm insurance products through our inbound customer care center
  • Accountability to your team, work, and schedule
  • Additional responsibilities for the licensed reps include:
  • Communicating with customers in a courteous manner using approved scripts via phone or written correspondence
  • Working in a collaborative team environment while meeting quality standards

Qualification & Experience:

  • Part-time and full-time opportunities
  • You will be asked to provide your shift availability during the application process
  • Overnight and weekend shifts
