Job Description: The Commercial Data and Analytics (cDNA) Forecasting Manager will support Global & US forecasting for key General Medicine products, both in-line and pipeline. He or she must be a passionate champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making. Job Responsibilities: Lead collaboration with internal cross functional partners, including finance, marketing, pricing, value & access, to obtain relevant data and analysis for forecast inputs Independently contribute to regular forecast cycles including quarterly brand and annual long-range brand and pipeline forecasts Contribute to the advancement and implementation of new forecast approaches and methodology Confidently present and defend forecast approach, methodology, assumptions, and output at the executive level Independently use forecasts to support product decision making and to respond to ad-hoc forecast requests Independently perform in-depth data analysis to create robust assumptions and forecast inputs Independently design, prepare, and maintain patient- and demand-based forecasts and scenarios for US in-line products and global pipeline assets aligned to the needs of cross functional stakeholders Leverage solid biopharma environment understanding to deliver brand and asset level insights from analytics and forecasts Job Requirements: Experience with a variety of forecasting, quantitative techniques (e.g., smoothing, regression, time series analysis), advanced spreadsheets, modeling software, and reporting software Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment Demonstrated ability to think strategically to support key business decisions Strong project management skills—able to organize and complete multiple projects efficiently and on time Ability to prioritize across many requests from many stakeholders Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts and controversial findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management Advanced degree (MS/MBA) 5+ years of forecasting, market research, business analytics or consulting experience Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of analytics experience Master’s degree and 2 years analytics experience Doctorate degree Job Details: Company: Amgen Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Thousand Oaks, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
