Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently delivers a remarkable customer experience through assisting and handling claims
- Within approved limits or authority applies claims settlement procedures to handle claims, initiate claim payment process, obtains documents needed for salvage sale
- Uses various electronic resources for claim handling
- Follows established procedures to appropriately handle, and settle total loss claims
- Researches, resolves, and settles claims within approved limits and/or as directed
- Organizes and processes assigned work and large volumes of claims utilizing appropriate procedures
- Follows standard claim processes. Sets expectations about timing of claim process
- Work may include- contacting salvage vendors for clarification on what paperwork is needed, talking with customer to explain the titling process and any additional documents we need, within approved limits
- Recognizes and refers claims that are beyond scope of authority
- Works in partnership with Total Loss, Salvage Document Processing and Salvage Invoice Processing
- Communicates with team members, business partners, and external customers which may require contact by telephone, written correspondence, in-person, or other electronic media
Job Requirements:
- Complete all applicable training
- Position may require walking, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crawling, and/or lifting objects
- Job may require travel overnight via commercial transportation or driving motor vehicles to any office locations where the Company does business, or other locations to conduct/attend training, conferences, meetings, and/or seminars
- May be required to work additional hours, overtime hours, or non-standard hours, including varying work shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, based on workload and as the operation dictates
