Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effective time management is critical – in addition to handling incoming phone calls, there are several queues that must be managed daily (i.e. – New Mail, File Notes, Default Calendars, etc.)
  • Exhibit resiliency to work in a high production/high phone call environment
  • Responsible for effectively managing an assigned claim inventory to meet customer expectations and maintain appropriate Service Level Objectives (SLO)
  • Communicates with policyholders, other insurance companies, and attorneys in coordination with the Claim Specialist to secure property damage payments
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task and demonstrate good learning agility
  • Expected to proactively work assigned claims and provide additional claim documentation as needed to compel appropriate subrogation recoveries
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the competencies of customer focus, quality, technical/functional expertise, teamwork, and work ethic

Job Requirements:

  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to learn or understanding of jurisdictional law (business acumen) as it applies to the claim files they are managing
