Job Description:
Cigna’s Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) provides early career candidates the opportunity to be directly involved with the ongoing operations of a dynamic health care industry leader. The projects OLDP associates oversee and the teams they manage have a direct impact on the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve.
Job Responsibilities:
- A formal mentorship program with business leaders to support continuous development throughout the program
- Cross Program Summit with networking and training opportunities with all of Cigna’s Leadership and Development programs.
- A multi-week training during your first summer providing an introduction to the industry, corporate structure, and company leaders.
- Formal training and development of management skills such as business acumen, effective communication, conflict resolution, assessing talent, data analysis, and motivating others.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency of interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service experience with a focus on meeting customer needs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience by driving results and/or leading change
- BA/BS in Business, Operations Management, Healthcare, Finance, or related field
- Prior business exposure through internship/work experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to new situations and handle ambiguity
- No more than 3 years of work experience post-undergraduate graduation date
- Self-motivated and ability to operate independently
- 3.0 GPA or better preferred
