Job Description:
The Financial Analyst will report to the Vice President, Pricing Strategy and FP&A and will be responsible for providing analytical and business decision support to management team through financial modeling. You will play a key part in creating a process of gathering inputs for monthly, quarterly and annual strategic planning.
Job Requirements:
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
- Coordinate with department owners to present monthly financial update
- Conduct thorough research of historical financial data and review accounting transactions for data accuracy
- Develop and maintain monthly recurring management reports such as revenue, costing, and gross margin reporting
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
- Analyze and accurately report on current trends and present findings to management team
- Assist in forecast preparation, budgeting, and variance analysis
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
- MBA is preferred
- 3-4 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
- Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar role
- Familiarity with finance databases
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expertise in MS Excel (using advanced formulas and pivot tables)
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
- Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance
