Job Description:
Under direction of a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I (PSDS I) provides supervision for the Public Safety Dispatchers and Public Safety Operators; coordinate and prepare monthly and daily work schedules; responsible for training dispatch personnel and establishing training needs and guidelines; prepare probationary and annual performance appraisals; accountable for daily and monthly payroll paperwork; responsible for appropriate coverage on the dispatch floor; participates in pre-employment interviews; and other duties as assigned.

- Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered.
- Dates printed on Mobile Bar Codes, such as the Quick Response (QR) Codes available at the USPS, are not considered Postmark dates for the purpose of determining timely filing of an application.

- The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
- The position(s) require(s) Psychological Evaluation clearance prior to being hired.

- Excellent attendance, punctuality and dependability; excellent inter-personal, writing and time management skills; ability to be assertive during high stress situations; ability to understand and follow directions; work independently as well as part of a team.
- All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position.
