Job Description:

A full-time position that is responsible for effectively planning, organizing, and directing daily task within the Landscaping Department. Works with Maintenance Manager in assigning, instruction, training, and directing subordinates in a concise manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Recommend changes in procedure that are consistent with a continuous improvement approach within Landscaping.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure proper inventories of supplies, material, and parts are maintained.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed by crews.
• Provides first line supervision of Landscapers as they perform daily task.
• Enforce company safety standards and assist in improving safety within the division wherever possible.
• Enforce company policies.
• Plan and schedule routine work and inspections.

Job Requirements:

• Valid drivers license.
• Good writing and record keeping skills.
• High School graduate or G.E.D.
• Landscaping aptitude and minimum of 5 years’ experience as a landscaper or related field.

Qualification & Experience:

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
• Ability to give clear, concise directions for carrying out assigned tasks.
• Works well independently, and with others.
• Possess good work ethic and attendance record.
• Basic computer aptitude and willing to learn.
