Job Description:
Dorney Park is seeking an organized, reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor delivering FUN to the thousands of park guests who attend our park. Working with the Warehouse leadership team, you will spend your time managing the staff of our onsite warehouse; ensuring that all materials arriving at the park are properly received, cataloged, processed, and delivered to the correct departments throughout the park. This position will assist the Warehouse Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and leading a team of warehouse attendants to support the needs of the various operating departments in the park. This is a full-time position with year-round responsibilities and health care benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and enforce all safety rules and procedures for equipment and facility
- Receive, process and apply price tags to inventory shipments for resale products
- Inspect, accept and distribute incoming packages and deliveries , securing them until the time of delivery or pick up
- Minimize shrink by managing the accuracy of the receiving, picking and delivery processes from the warehouse to revenue centers throughout the park
- Inspect and maintain records of inspections, for all trucks , forklifts and other equipment employed in the operation of the warehouse
- Pick, pull and deliver food and merchandise orders throughout the park
- Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, oversee the daily activities of the warehouse attendant team as they perform their duties to fulfill orders and supply needs throughout the park
- Perform office duties as needed to receive and allocate products and equipment into the warehouse
- Assign, monitor and evaluate daily tasks as needed to effectively accomplish the daily goals of the park
- Assist with the performance of physical inventories of food and merchandise products held in the warehouse
- Inspect and accept or reject inbound maintenance and equipment shipments
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery and vehicles safely throughout the park
- Previous warehouse leadership experience preferred
- Ability to learn and use additional computer programs such as DataWorks and FoodTrak
Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
- Ability to count, add, subtract, multiple, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull certain items up to 50 pounds frequently, and more than 50 pounds occasionally
- Competency with the English language at a level sufficient to receive or dispense basic job assignments and instructions
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, occasional nights and holidays during park operating months
