Job Description:

This position is also responsible for the development and delivery of high-quality training and development programs at all levels across the park, primarily focusing on people development at all levels of the organization. Lead the planning and administration of various training initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with corporate on any strategic content development and delivery to drive consistency in the learning process.
  • Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and dealing with employees and maximize learning outcomes.
  • Oversees leadership development sessions and ensures they are applying what they learned in practical application.
  • Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted.
  • Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
  • Plans, develops, and provides training and staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Identifies skill or knowledge gaps and develops training content to address needs.
  • Develops testing and evaluation procedures to measure effectiveness of training programs.
  • Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials focused on people development.
  • Evaluates Operations Supervisors/instructor/trainer performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Management, Communication, Education, Psychology or related field with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent; minimum of 3 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Related training certifications, active professional memberships, and in-depth experience with the delivery of learning programs for technical and soft skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts and principles.
  • Ability to develop beneficial relationships and networks in order to achieve results.
  • Organizational development expertise and well-rounded knowledge of learning applications and authoring tools.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Proven relationship management, diplomacy, and consultative abilities.
  • Ability to influence changes in the learning delivery and seek input from all departments to define any performance needs/gaps and change course as needed to improve learning outcomes.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude, handles complex issues.
  • Problem-solving, planning, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with a Learning Management System: Dayforce/Ceridien preferred, Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
