Job Description:

Installs, maintains and repairs, water, gas, and sewer systems and equipment throughout the Park. Areas of responsibility include water rides, food stands, restaurants, water park, wells, and restrooms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Other duties may be assigned.
• Repairs and installs underground utilities, i.e. air, water, storm, and sanitation.
• Checks pumps and filters for various water effects. Repairs and replaces filters and show water pumps. Installs and upgrades filtration systems.
• Operates machinery/equipment including sewer cleaning machine, pipe threading machine, power tools, air compressors, confined space monitor, gas detector, etc.
• Checks water levels in rides, cleans filters and backwash, checks pH and chlorine levels in waterpark pools.
• Makes adjustments as necessary and completes the appropriate documentation.
• Clears clogged sewer lines. Checks bathrooms for leaks, stoppages, broken or damaged fixtures.
• Responds to maintenance plumbing calls.
• Responsible for park water and sewer line repairs including copper and PEX systems.
• Services gas and electric water heaters. Logs parks water and sewer usage from various meters. Winterizes water systems and buildings.

Job Requirements:

• Need to have 2-5 years’ experience in general plumbing installation and repairs.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with plumbing torches, PEX crimping tools, drain cleaning equipment, power hand tools.

Qualification & Experience:

• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
