Job Description:

Cedar Point is seeking an experienced leader to manage the TGI Friday’s restaurant location, located inside Cedar Point. This leader will maintain effective overall management of the TGI Friday’s restaurant in accordance with TGI Friday’s and Cedar Fair company operating procedures, while achieving all budgetary goals

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all managers knowing workforce timekeeping system and the ability to complete payroll.
• Initiates corrective/improvement actions as needed or upon direction of the director.
• Motivates supervision and employees to seek improvement in individual performances.
• Perform weekly inventory on all food and beverage.
• Ensures the practice of corporate and divisional policies and procedures are in effect at all times.
• Responsible for accurate reporting within area.
• Ensure all state and local health regulations are meeting standard regularly.
• Ensure all employees are properly certified in each area of restaurant.
• Assists in Planning and Development within area.
• Ensure the highest level of guest services are present in all areas of operation.
• Achieves all financial and budgetary goals.
• Informs the director of all developments within area of responsibility on a daily basis. Reports all guest/employee issues on the daily shift report.
• Ensure all cost controls for food and labor are being achieved to enable a positive budget result.
• Maintains all menus in a consistent manner with proper preparation procedures, portions and accompaniments in accordance with TGIF standards.
• Maintains effective communication with all employees and staff members.

Job Requirements:

• Passionate about understanding and creating an exceptional guest and associate experience like no other.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 6 years related experience in high volume restaurant operations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs with a heavy focus on being present when the restaurant is open for operations. (11:00AM to 12:00AM)
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
