Job Description:
Provide operational support to the Food and Beverage Manager, ensuring high quality standards of food and guest service. A full-time, year round position with competitive salary, 401K, vacation and sick pay, health insurance, park perks, and a great off-season schedule
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in cleaning and winterizing food locations at the end of the season and cleaning and preparing locations in the spring for opening day.
- Willing to travel to other parks as needed in the off season to assist with Halloween and Winterfest events.
- Assists the Area Manager in closing down the food locations at the end of the day. This would include checking out locations to make sure they are left clean and organized and investigating over/shorts.
- Assists Food & Beverage Manager and Area Manager in monitoring staffing levels to meet demand in the park.
- Follows up on daily audits turned in by the Safety and Sanitation Supervisor. Reports findings weekly to Food and Beverage Manager.
- Enters food inventory data into Food Trak weekly.
- Learn all relevant aspects of the Food Trak system.
- Develops and implements associate training with regards to equipment in all locations. Training includes how to use and care for all fryers, grills, ovens and refrigeration.
- Assists the Area Manager and Supervisors in making sure food locations are guest-ready during operating hours.
- Assists in weekly food inventories.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to pass ServSafe certification class.
- Ability to pass a ServSafe Alcohol certification class.
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment in the Culinary/Food Industry.
- Experience in menu development, labor and food costs, food presentation, and service.
Qualification & Experience:
- Computer skills. Experience and functional knowledge of how to use excel, word, and power point.
- Understanding regulations regarding food safety.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV previous employment, eduction and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company Policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
