Job Description:

As an IT Analyst in the Collaboration Support team you will be involved in email system administration, upgrades, security reviews, IT controls/governance, planning, testing, release, deployment and support. Providing protection systems for one of the most common attack vectors, you make significant contribution to overall Cyber Security posture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support of Proofpoint and Linux servers hosting critical applications (e.g. Send mail, SMTP registration and LDAP email directory).
• Test and implement software and infrastructure updates/upgrades.
• Ensure positive customer experience and delivering on IT Service level targets
• Maintain and evaluate Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Work independently or across teams on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems
• Support IT Controls and Governance for email administration.
• Provide level 2/3 support for email routing and protection, including rotation in 24×7 on-call

Job Requirements:

• Genuine interest in technology and problem solving.
• Fundamental understanding of DNS and network technologies.
• 6+ years or more of experience in email administration and technical support
• Willingness to learn and adapt with constantly evolving technologies and security practices
• Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• Some experience with any of the following: Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Linux (RHEL), Send mail, LDAP/Open LDAP, SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
• Familiarity with Proofpoint Secure Email Gateways (SEG) and SMTP Relays would be ideal
• Experience with webservers (Apache)
• Top Candidate Will Also Have:
• Demonstrate ability to maintain and develop scripts in Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell and SQL.
