Job Description:

The Enterprise Mobile Workforce Analyst provides technical support to Cal Water’s Unified Mobile Computing Platform including maintaining the existing integrations as well as creating any future integrations, creating and managing reports, configuring the system to defined business requirements, implementing system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and fixes. The position works with functional administrators to define and maintain security roles, permissions, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues. The position is located in San Jose, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gathers functional business requirements by interviewing and collaborating with end-users; translates them into functional/technical specifications
  • Acts as a technical lead or project manager for projects and programs of various size, complexity, scope and budget; assists with implementation, testing, and training prior to production
  • Participates in and supports the Company’s Continuous Improvement program and projects
  • Identify, understand, and articulate solutions for customer issues including the installation, usage, configuration, and performance of Kloudgin
  • Mobile Platform and related technologies
  • Investigates and resolves production support issues and provides timely resolution to ensure system up time
  • Configures system and develop reports to meet specified business requirements
  • Complies with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and requirements
  • Reviews all aspects of operations to enhance efficiencies and improve processes in a manner that meets business requirements
  • Facilitates user group meets and feedback sessions
  • Identify issues and log defects for software improvements
  • Manages multiple tasks with competing deadlines to ensure minimal impact to functional users
  • Performs upgrades, enhancements, or fixes to existing or new systems as requested
  • Collaborates with other developers, business partners and to create/develop future integrations

Job Requirements:

  • Background in software support or utility and field operations, customer service with direct end user contact
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid California Driver License
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures and IT business practices
  • Ability to prepare reports and provide progress updates as needed
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and in writing, with agencies, contractors, consultants, customers, employees, and vendors
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of SOX controls
  • Flexible and able to prioritize work
  • Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create presentations, spreadsheets, and Word documents
  • Demonstrated project management skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, related water utility field and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience with Kloudgin functionality for dispatch and/or field operations
