Job Description: As a member of our Aquatic Leadership Team, you will perform duty manager responsibilities to include (but not limited to): opening and closing the park during operational days; maintaining quality standards while enforcing ARC & SEA safety standards in all assigned areas; supervising seasonal & part-time aquatic personnel on proper waterpark operations; and performing all other water-safety related duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring that all Ambassadors are properly trained and prepared to respond to emergency situations; are aware to report all emergencies immediately to senior leadership; and address Ambassador and/or guest incidents/ injuries with timeliness and professionalism. Will also manage in-park inventory and submit order requests from our onsite warehouse on an as needed. Will be responsible for one or more outlets within a division of the Aquatica Waterpark. Responsible for attraction audits to ensure Ambassadors are acting in accordance with SeaWorld’s and Aquatica’s SOPs. Perform all other Supervisory and Cleaning Duties as assigned. Establishes and maintains a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of Ambassador performance and Guest service while enforcing all waterpark procedures & safety guidelines. Supervises the allocation of labor to include ensuring compliance with posted schedules as well as educating Ambassadors about time management and the proper use of the Sea Port App. May be utilized in various special projects and company-wide events throughout the year for both Aquatica and SeaWorld. Job Requirements: Have a strong training background in a classroom setting and possess basic to moderate math and computer skills to include knowledge in MS software. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Current Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, and Standard First Aid; prefer Lifeguard Training Instructor and/or WSI. Minimum One (1) year waterpark leadership experience or equivalent external experience. Proficiency in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualification & Experience: A Positive Can-Do Attitude with Excellent Customer Service and a proven Safety Track Record enforcing waterpark policies & procedures; utilizing personal protective equipment; proper lifting techniques; and reporting unsafe conditions. Successfully complete any additional company and department training requirements to include (but not limited) passing required tests and certifications within established timelines. Be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions. Be a Role Model regarding all SEA Grooming Guidelines and ability to enforce expected standards.
