Job Description:

Assist with check-in and check-out process for Education programs and summer camp. Operate SEA vehicles to transport campers. Facilitate in-depth specialized activities (including in-water activities) for campers. Greet and welcome campers and parents who arrive for SeaWorld Camp programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of designated camp area.
• Organize and take inventory of program materials.
• Utilize excellent communication and guest service skills (both oral and written) when interacting with Education Program guests and camp parents.
• Act as a relief Day Camp Counselor when needed to facilitate camp curriculum, including activities and crafts for campers Pre-K through 12th Grade.

Job Requirements:

• Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• At least 19 years old
• Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
• Ability to pass the CPR certification course.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record and proof of insurance.
• Able to meet company driving guidelines

Qualification & Experience:

• Position engages in extensive walking and standing and climb/ascend heights.
• Climb ladders up to 6′ and ascend stairways and reach above shoulders.
• Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid, closing shifts and holidays.
• At least one (1) year of prior experience working in childcare or similar fields.
• Able to lift, push and pull 25 pounds
• Six (6) months of previous guest service experience preferred.
• One (1) year of college experience preferred.
• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, bending, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and
• fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing),
