Job Description:

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Process Engineer will improve SIU industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize investigation prosecution. This associate will be expected to develop, configure, and optimize processes from inception through to implementation, as well as assess those processes, take measurements, and interpret data. Our ideal candidate will be able to develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Additionally this role will provide process documentation and operating instructions and maintain departmental archives. It is the expectation of the Process Engineer to foster collaboration, process improvement, awareness, and support to the CIU in the most critical spaces while demonstrating drive, influence, and outstanding leadership qualities.The SIU Process Engineer is responsible for the operation and upkeep of critical regulatory process fulfillment within the SIU.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Running the weekly production report and completing resulting analysis
  • Daily Smart Routing queue management report
  • Weekly distribution of alerts and cases
  • Provide strategy insights from raw data analysis
  • Creating and managing a central SIU team sites/confluence page, as well as preparing all SIU presentation decks, Monthly Business Review (MBR) deck updates
  • Updating Business Process Management artifacts for the SIU Process Binder
  • Running data analysis to determine innovative approaches for investigations
  • Design, run, test and upgrade various systems and processes
  • Daily operation and tracking of the “SIU Referral” mailbox

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of process management experience
  • At least 2 years of AML experience, or at least 3 years of investigative experience, or at least 3 years of compliance experience
  • ACAMS, BPM, and/or Six Sigma/Lean Certification

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • At least 2 years of AML experience, or at least 2 years of investigative experience, or at least 2 years of compliance experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in Data Analysis and building presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree
