2nd & 3rd Shift Production Assistant – GA Pacific Careers

Job Description:

Are you committed to safety? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? Georgia-Pacific is looking for Production Assistants for our Lebanon, TN sheet feeder plant. Production Assistants have the exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team dedicated to safety. This position creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated sheets to be made into printed boxes for our valued customers. Production Assistants will have opportunities for advancement as openings occur.

Employees in this role are required to work 2nd and 3rd^  Shift. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends. The hours for 2nd shift are from 2pm-10pm and the hours for 3rd shift are 10pm-6am.

Georgia-Pacific sheet feeder plant in Lebanon, TN produces a wide variety of corrugated sheets using a state of the art corrugator which is roughly the length of a football field. Job Responsibilities:

• Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Housekeeping of production area to ensure a safe and orderly work environment
• Arranging orders on machine centers and running product to meet customer specifications
• Performing required quality checks

Qualification & Experience:

• Willing and able to work 2nd and 3rd shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• High School diploma or GED
• Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
