Job Description: The IT - Data & Common Services, Analytics Platform & Architecture group is responsible for providing high-availability of access & performance to our organization’s analytical data, and modeling & enriching it for effortless consumption by our edge systems and end users. We partner with stakeholders to continuously assess data processes and tools, evaluate their usage and impact, and provide data governance and quality. We strive to transform Hawaiian Airlines to a data-focused, self-service business intelligence model with governed data management, built atop a modern analytics platform comprised of centralized cloud-based data and a powerful ecosystem of cloud-based tools. Job Responsibilities: Lead, support and influence the achievement of the mission, goals, and objectives of the department and corporation Consult across multiple projects and technology areas at the same time to perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution implementation Lead solutioning/design sessions with a program perspective in association with all interdependent systems Actively participate in architecture governance (may be as a non-voting member) Influence technical designs at the enterprise level and actively participate in setting technical direction of the styles of computing Lead and facilitate the analysis, design, programming and implementation of viable solutions to highly complex business problems according to user specifications Lead large development, installation or support teams and ensure the tactical implementation of computing styles and architecture Contribute to technical design, decision-making, and tactical planning at the enterprise level Model desired organizational behavior as defined in the company values and leadership competencies Cultivate and promote an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, integrity, teamwork, and work-life balance Job Requirements: Expert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware and software theory, practice, concepts and technology Ability to deal with complex technical issues and make appropriate trade-offs as required Ability to design how a system should work and understand how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes Technical Expert of required programming languages Expert knowledge of technical/business environments Ability to influence technical direction across multiple projects or technology areas Demonstrated proficiency in the required technologies Expert ability to write code and advise the work of Software Developer Engineers Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (in lieu of degree – 11 years of experience in Business, Engineering and/or IT environment) 7 years of work experience in Business, Engineering and/or Information Technology environment Prior experience leading project teams and guiding production efforts Expert level experience in a single technology area or broad system-level expertise across multiple computing platforms and technologies B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Job Details: Company: Hawaiian Airlines Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Honolulu, HI, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
