Univision is seeking a talented Associate Marketing Manager with experience in marketing for a media or technology company to join our Corporate Marketing team.

• Securing Univision’s place as a leading U.S. media company and THE Hispanic experts
• Enhancing the stature of all Univision Communications’ media assets, driving ratings and consumer engagement
• Providing best-in-class branding and campaigns to and with partners across the company

The successful candidate will support the Corporate Marketing team with the execution of proactive marketing projects, as well as help lead overall marketing strategies. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, with strong writing and project management skills, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage internal quarterly marketing newsletter
  • Includes writing content and collecting content from various teams, setting up the back-end, working with designers, list maintenance, and employee intranet integration
• Help lead internal branding projects, under the direction of the Sr. Manager
  • Includes digital and print needs for internal stakeholders such as HR, Global Security, Compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility, and others
  • Coordinate meetings and manage stakeholder communication
  • Provide strategic recommendations and solutions
• Support Sr. Manager and Director with consumer-facing branding projects and 360 corporate campaigns as needed
  • Organize meetings, timelines, brainstorms, and communications
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate efforts
  • Provide sound strategic thinking on ideas of how to meet project objectives
• Support the Corporate Marketing Director with consumer event executions
• Manage award submissions for all non-design based team marketing work
• Day to day management of Univision’s corporate website, corporate.univision.com
  • Meet weekly with Digital Agency of Record, managing timelines and feedback delivery for projects
  • Field requests from internal clients and execute via WordPress
    • Includes text edits, photo uploads, building pages with templates, document updates, and basic redirects
  • Track performance via Google Analytics with help from agency
  • Create content and manage external content creation for website
    • Includes writing articles and blogs and working with agency or internal designers on graphic pieces such as infographics, videos, or interactive elements
    • Manage the corporate Mailchimp account
    • Includes account maintenance and troubleshooting, tracking metrics, list maintenance/optimization, user management, billing

Job Requirements:

• Ability to collaborate and build internal networks to gather intel needed for projects
• Project management skills, a commitment to follow through on all details, and a skill for working independently
• Excellent verbal communication skills and advanced critical thinking, including the ability to make a valuable contribution to a group discussion, to negotiate with internal and external partners, to present in front of large audiences, and to approach projects proactively
• Experience working in Mailchimp and WordPress

Qualification & Experience:

• Exceptional skill and great passion for writing – English and Spanish
• Team-first mentality
• Proficient PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects under pressure
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or Communications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a media or technology company
