We are currently seeking a User Experience Designer located in Texas, Flower Mound. Job Responsibilities: You are a strategic thinker and can apply research to create and improve user experience within the healthcare space. You will assist in the creation of guidelines for user interfaces in order to simplify the user interaction and improve efficiency in products across the entire patient journey. Research healthcare professional roles and responsibilities, and understand the current state of patient care Conduct ethnographic research to determine key problem areas for healthcare providers Build qualitative and quantitative user tests for new and existing digital products utilizing user research methodologies As the user experience designer, you will be leading user and design research including usability studies, ethnographic field research, user surveys, prototype testing and competitive product analysis. Job Requirements: Collaborate and share research with peers, stakeholders, and potential customers Monitor and assess new technologies for potential incorporation into existing products Capably and consistently meet project deadlines Research healthcare professional roles and responsibilities, and understand the current state of patient care Interpret and translate product requirements into meaningful user experiences Collaborate with other designers to build optimal solutions for patient care Collaborate in the definition of user interface design standards for Stryker applications Qualification & Experience: Must be able to effectively communicate design rationale verbally and visually to team members Familiarity with modern design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc.) Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new technologies.
