Job Description:

As our Compensation Manager, you’ll help lead the design, evaluation, modification and implementation of compensation strategies and policies that will enable us to attract, hire and retain the outstanding talent SeaWorld is known for. You will ensure our compensation system is best-in-class and in compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. You will:

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete both reoccurring and ad-hoc reporting requests and requirements
• Prepare Compensation Committee presentations
• Review and complete job evaluation requests to ensure market competitiveness
• Formulate recommendations for impending legislation / Statutory requirements
• Empower leaders and business partners with data to drive decisions
• Develop and maintain documentation of Compensation processes and procedures
• Administer Merit, Annual Incentive, and Equity programs
• Price roles using salary survey
• Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)
• Conduct market research
• Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans

Qualification & Experience:

• HRIS or payroll experience preferred
• CCP certification a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Bachelors Degree
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources modeling
• Five or more years of compensation experience, including three or more years in a leadership role
• Strong presentation and analytical skills
