Job Description: As the NCS Policy Advisor you will be expected to develop expertise in your subject area and be a representative of the team on issues at both internal and external meetings. You will conduct research, organise and analyse evidence and data, and apply judgement to make recommendations that solve complex problems. The role is varied, with a mix of policy, strategy, and operational responsibility. Job Responsibilities: Supporting the National Citizen Service (NCS) Programme through its ongoing transformation, maintaining good governance and oversight. Working with key stakeholders in the NCS Trust to meet legal and compliance obligations co-ordinating with teams across government including Parliament, Cabinet Office, and Number 10. Drafting a variety of documents, including ministerial briefings and advice, ministerial correspondence, and responses to Parliamentary Questions. Developing effective working relationships with a variety of senior stakeholders, across CSY, DCMS and other government departments, as well as external stakeholders.
