Job Description: The Director, Product Management is responsible for building and leading Indigo’s product management team and driving the digital vision from inception to launch. This role owns the strategy and execution for new and existing products related to Indigo’s digital ecosystem as well as defines the vision and structure for product management at Indigo. Under this position’s leadership, the product management team will collaborate with UX, engineering, merchandising and operations, to conceive, prioritize, and deliver experiences that inspire and create joy in each and every interaction. Job Responsibilities: Embrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customers Ensure the execution of team deliverables and adapt team priorities based on changing needs Set/adhere to team budgets, as applicable Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all design and decision-making processes Create and own the product roadmap with various cross-functional stakeholders Effectively manage the expectations of internal and external customers by providing transparency into the key objectives, and overall roadmap of Indigo digital Define and drive continuous prioritization based on short-term wins and long-term strategy, analyzing trade-offs, customer and business needs Define business requirements by managing the team’s collaboration with the user experience (UX), merchandising, operations and marketing business partners Oversee the definition and improvement of key success metrics by leveraging results in future products phases and releases Identify go-to-market plan, business readiness activities, and communication for each product and feature roll-out Support Indigo goals by executing on short to mid-term departmental goals (1 year) Maintain a high level of strategic foresight by identifying customer and business needs, and adjusting departmental and team objectives accordingly Build trust with product and customer thinking internally – establish credibility and confidence as a key digital leader within Indigo Job Requirements: Demonstrated ability to communicate with and develop effective and collaborative relationships across the organization in pursuit of corporate goals Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel Demonstrated customer centricity and a willingness to advocate for the customer at all times Successful track record of bringing new products to market across various platforms – mobile, web, etc. Capacity and experience in working cross-functionally in ways to meet competing priorities and resource constraints Strong background and working experience in eCommerce and/or mobile Strong ability to deliver initiatives from conception to completion Qualification & Experience: Minimum of 5+ of years of progressive experience in product management, technology management or a related discipline Degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering, or UX Design preferred; MBA a strong asset Experience driving change and leading agile transformation Job Details: Company: Chapters Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Functions: Product Management Job Location: Toronto, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
