Job Description: We are currently looking for an Art Director to work for the ICA, PUMA’s Internal Creative Agency, out of our Boston Office. We are looking for someone who is focused on visual storytelling with a strong aesthetic sense for art direction, video, and digital content. The candidate should be culturally connected and passionate with a genuine knowledge and passion for arts/culture, streetwear/fashion. We’re seeking someone who is innovative, collaborative, ambitious – someone who genuinely wants to design cool stuff for our brand. Job Responsibilities: Work with internal producers to plan and execute photoshoots and other types of productions Be a leading voice in both ICA and cross-channel brainstorming sessions Collaborate with the Creative Director, Content Creators, and Business in the conception of high-production communications Act as a senior leader within ICA, while leading and developing junior members of the ICA team Work across all marketing channels to execute ideas that deliver on creative directions developed by ICA – PR, Social, Paid Media, Ecommerce Oversee the development of creative guidelines to aid in regional execution of global concepts, as well as the post-production asset selection and retouching process Lead creative productions by identifying, hiring and briefing external partners – photographers, illustrators, animators, producers, content creators Work with the Head of Brand Creative and senior management in the business units to develop briefs for campaigns and other communications initiatives Job Requirements: Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to effectively work with senior management to brainstorm, design and strategize the fulfillment of marketing executions Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including: concept ideation, design development, and pre- and post- production Leadership capabilities, including ability to manage, motivate and mentor others within work group Digitally focused, with versatile creative suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat on Mac ) to be able to create proof of concepts, moving imagery such as gifs and video content Thorough understanding of creative process, color theory and typography as well as interactive, digital design and video storytelling Ability to function autonomously and in a cooperative, diverse group Strong written and verbal communication skills Qualification & Experience: Minimum 7 years relevant experience is required Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study Experience in the footwear, athletic/apparel industry a plus.
