Job Description: The Specialist, HR Administration is responsible for supervising day-to-day HR Administration deliverables which include People Relation Managers, reporting/HR audits and maintaining policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Administer day-to-day HR operations which includes employee record changes, processing of new hires, transfers, leave of absence, termination, etc. Perform required audits on Company ID Badges, fingerprinting, CHRC Clearances, etc. Serve as an escalation point for incoming questions and requests; Work closely with the HR Administration team to triage issues and ensure timely communication to our customers Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy and security of HR data and adhere to HR Administration process and key internal controls over financial reporting (including compliance with SOX) Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees in accordance with Company policy, union contracts and federal/state regulations as well as customer service standards; coordinate with all areas in HR to ensure effective integration of payroll and HR data Work closely with the various areas within HR and business groups to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Administration process; create and maintain documentation of HR Administration team procedures and policies Train new employees and act as mentor to the team Other duties as assigned or directed Partner with payroll on close activities to ensure completeness of pending transactions and all identified audits Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field Able to regularly exercise appropriate discretion and independent judgment in interpreting and applying policies and union contracts Able to adapt to a constantly changing fast paced environment Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources effectively, adapt to rapidly changing priorities and meet deadlines Must be able to manage confidential information Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced in MS Excel formulas and pivot tables 2 years of work experience, preferably in Human Resources Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems, recognize and identify areas for process improvements and communicate trends Prior experience working with an HRIS system Job Details: Company: Hawaiian Airlines Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Honolulu, HI, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
