The Salesforce Engineer will be based at Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL and will report to the Global Director of Information Systems. At Amgen, our mission is simple to serve patients. This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a meaningful impact at one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies. Job Responsibilities: Contribute to the platform vision advising stakeholders on use of Salesforce technologies Work in an agile team to mature platform capabilities though backlog grooming, sprint planning and other agile ceremonies Provide guidance on application and integration development methodologies, architecture standards, functional and technical solutions, environment management, testing, and platform education Work hand in hand with cross-function teams to provide solution architecture guidance and support and conduct code reviews to ensure required platform standards are met prior to deployment. Solve key implementation and post issues and demonstrate ability to work towards successful resolution Develop integration standards and system integrations between Salesforce platform and other parts of Amgen's ecosystem Review releases and roadmaps from Salesforce and evaluate the impacts to current applications, organizations, and solutions Develop and support platform admin activities including data integrity, user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, and workflows Negotiate solutions to complex problems with both internal teams and third-party service providers Build relationships and work with cross-functional teams; contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single role Job Requirements: Doctorate degree Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration, including leadership in guiding customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases Experience managing platform operations and troubleshooting of complex environments A thorough understanding of web services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs and/or ETL tools), and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems (e.g. CMS, ERP, HRIS, DWH/DM) Release management experience in complex environments where a release may touch several environments, enterprise integrations, and rely on declarative as well as programmatic solutions Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience Job Details: Company: Amgen Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Tampa, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
