Job Description: Responsible for team performance in the areas of quality, delivery and performance to budget, team building, employee engagement, new product implementation, capacity and production planning. Adheres to quality and quantity standards and follows guidelines to meet product specifications. Job Responsibilities: Attend and or lead daily meetings and communicate business results /metrics clearly at all levels of the operations business Evaluate employee performance through various means, such as talent reviews and common annual reviews, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures, with guidance Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the support of business and process improvements Using data and other inputs, identify, prioritize, and deliver on business and customer needs Lead plant tours and be familiar with the products manufactured in all units Responsible for the attracting, developing, inspiring and retaining talent Collaborate with cross functional team to achieve goals Ability to manage the technical aspects of the business, understand root cause of potential issues, and implement resolution Ensures compliance with established regulatory, quality, legal, corporate, and human resources policies and procedures, including participation in audits Manage labor through OT approval and time card management Job Requirements: Excellent organization, planning, communication, project management and performance attainment in a manufacturing or logistics environment Strong MS Office skill set Qualification & Experience: Previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a production/manufacturing environment 3+ years of proven leadership experience required Bachelor’s degree required Job Details: Company: Stryker Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Portage, MI, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
