Job Description: Analyzes product information and ensures item pricing is accurate at the store level; Provides system support to stores and Category Management. Job Responsibilities: Provides advice and guidance, to Category Management, regarding Point of Sale (POS) system implementation Provides support to Operations via Marketing Store Support Center Identifies deficiencies in Department policies, procedures, systems, and practices; Recommends solutions accordingly Interacts with vendors in order to obtain information needed to maintain accurate product database files Compiles information and creates reports, in order to bill vendors for rebates Researches and analyzes new product pricing/pricing exceptions and makes appropriate product classification decisions, based upon criteria established in conjunction with the Category Manager Sets up and maintains items in the Price Book system. Monitors and controls retail pricing in the stores Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Supervisor Identifies pricing implementation problems, recommends solutions, and communicates the course of action to appropriate areas within the Organization Coordinates information between company and vendor systems to ensure proper pricing for merchandise Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues General and specific knowledge of retail pricing and sales in a convenience store environment Detailed knowledge of the Point of Sale system Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations Qualification & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Admin, or related field/or equivalent education and experience Job Details: Company: Speedway Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Enon, OH, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
