Job Description: As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & " Poolapalooza." Job Responsibilities: Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid Greets and interacts with Members Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members Job Requirements: Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping Lifeguard and First Aid Certified Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time Working towards a High School Diploma or GED Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services Ability to tread water for 1 minute Qualification & Experience: 6 months of customer service experience Job Details: Company: LifeTime Fitness Vacancy Type: Part Time Job Location: Westwood, MA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
