This is no small task which is why our Enterprise Safety & Security (ESS) team is looking to add a Project Manager in Richmond, VA or McLean, VA. ESS is seeking an experienced Project Portfolio Manager to support the delivery of a wide set of IT Investment and non IT related projects. You will coordinate the stakeholders for the program, and communicate to them status and requirements. Your job will include creating frameworks to guide and coordinate product delivery, as well as the oversight and maintenance of dashboards and other tools that stakeholders will use to communicate and understand where the project is at any point in time. Job Responsibilities: Evaluates portfolio and provides recommendations on areas for improvement in project and financial management, core support and release management. Assists portfolio project managers on project planning and management. Coordinates with business partners from project envision to implementation. Monitors overall project health in the portfolio and communicates status to portfolio leadership. Works with Portfolio Manager to develop and implement a strategic vision for technology initiatives. Provides portfolio updates to leadership. Ability to travel 15-20% Coordinates with business and technology teams to prioritize, fund, resource, and implement initiatives. Lead large enterprise facing initiatives for both ESS and our partner organizations. Responsible for providing direction, prioritization and structure to enable efficient implementation of assigned projects and initiatives. Oversee and communicate portfolio activities which include resource, financial, and project management. This resource will also work with portfolio and business leadership to define the strategic vision for the portfolio.
