This position is an experienced skilled crafts role that creates value by performing a variety of maintenance duties, ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. Job Responsibilities: Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment for improved reliability and uptime Communicating with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs Maintaining highest level of housekeeping standards for the facility Job Requirements: Experience working with preventative and predictive maintenance Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps Maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing and/or military environment Willing and able to work in high and/or confined spaces Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment Willing and able to work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed Qualification & Experience: High School Diploma or GED Experience with fabrication and welding Experience diagnosing and repairing PLCs and electronic/electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other mechanical systems Two (2) years or more of mechanical or millwright experience in a manufacturing environment Wood products maintenance experience a plus Job Details: Company: Georgia Pacific Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: DeQuincy, LA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
