The Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) team in Starbucks Technology is responsible for driving business value using a multi-disciplinary approach that includes enterprise information modeling, enterprise data vocabulary development, taxonomy development, ontology, and metadata practices. This position contributes to Starbucks success by leading enterprise level data initiatives and introduction of new technology capabilities. The manager architect’s primary role is to lead their team of data architects, taxonomists and data modelers and participate in the creation of usable enterprise level data strategies and roadmaps. Additionally, the role is responsible for coaching mentoring and leading their team to develop data architecture-level designs that articulate the strategy, roadmap and/or solution that meet the needs of a business strategy or problem. As we continue to expand our scope of work in EIA, we are seeking a visionary leader who is excited to work with technologists, data users, and business users to mature our data literacy journey and enable our digital transformation.
