Job Description: Maintains responsibility for all aspects of applications and/or systems administration, including implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, usage monitoring and the development of systems infrastructure within Digital Infrastructure Designs, writes, implements and performs backup and restore procedures, and monitors processes Administers and maintains system stability Job Responsibilities: Provides oversight of hardware and software operations and maintenance support Installs new software releases, performs system upgrades, configures systems, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves complex problems Influences teams and stakeholders to achieve objectives; communicates how infrastructure work drives value for the business Ensures the effective, secure and regulatory compliant operations and administration of complex infrastructure resources, and consistent integrity of information Participates in the design of disaster/system recovery and testing, when applicable Monitors system configuration and automation scripts to ensure system stability Participates in the development of system backups and recovery processes Manages stakeholder relationships to ensure successful deployment of updates, problem solving and ongoing system management Coordinates with appropriate team(s) to apply software updates Collaborates with other Digital departments to provide problem resolution and excellent service to user community, and helps set service level expectation Job Requirements: Ability to be self-directed when required and work as part of a distributed team Ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication and customer service skills Must be flexible to work a standard work week in an office environment Travel, overtime, and/or off-hours work may be required based upon project management assignments Strong analytical and problem solving skills Qualification & Experience: High Certification in Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, and/or Cisco CCENT preferred Will consider candidates without a degree if they show/demonstrate having 2+ additional years of equivalent, relevant experience in tools, systems and initiatives leveraged by Ameren 2+ years of relevant experience Associates Degree required, preferably in computer science or related field Job Details: Company: Ameren Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Decatur, IL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careersvite.com
