Job Description: Responsible for auditing nuclear security performance and recommending corrective actions to ensure Security Force compliance with the nuclear Security Plan, procedures, Safeguards Contingency Plan and licensing documents. Job Responsibilities: Audit nuclear security performance to ensure Security Force compliance with all policies and procedures. Update policies and procedures as needed and recommend or take action as appropriate. Identify methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the security organization and submit these suggestions to management. Conduct safety inspections and human performance and safety related investigations in accordance with site requirements. Interface with various department managers for scheduled work activities. Job Requirements: Conduct assessments of security programs. Monitor security department KPIs. Fulfill other security-related duties that may arise to meet departmental needs and regulatory commitments. Qualification & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience as a nuclear security officer or related experience. Two years of demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Must be able to meet physical, psychological, mental and training requirements of 10CFR73, Appendix "B", and the company's nuclear training and qualification plan.
